Vlad Suglobov, Co-Founder, CEO, Member of the Board
Born in 1977 and started in the games industry as a programmer in 1995, Vlad Suglobov possesses over 20 years of industry experience. Before co-founding G5 in 2001 and since then serving as CEO of the group for more than 14 years, Vlad graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with M.Sc. in Computer Science, and has worked in a number of Russian and US companies in games and IT industry. Growing with G5, Vlad was active in many essential roles, establishing company’s strategy, client relations, product development and sales. Today, Vlad is concentrating on expanding G5’s business internationally. Vlad Suglobov is a deputy director of the Board in Wide Development Limited, which owns 624,800 shares in the company. Petter Nylander, Independent Chairman
Born 1964, elected 2013. Petter has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Stockholm. In 1994, Petter joined MTG AB and made it to several senior positions including CEO of TV3 Sweden (Sweden’s first commercially financed TV station), CEO TV3 Scandinavia and Vice President MTG Broadcasting Channels. During 2003-2005 he was CEO of OMD Sweden AB (Omnicom Media Group), a global communications services company. During 2005-2010 he served as CEO for Unibet Group Plc, one of Europe’s leading online gambling sites. Other experience includes: 2000-2003 director of the Board, Cherry Företagen AB (Later split into Betsson, Net Entertainment and Cherry), 2004-2005 director of the Board, Ongame e-Solutions AB (Acquired by Bwin), 2006-2011 director of the Board, European Betting and Gaming Association (EGBA), 2010-2011 director of the Board, Bingo.com, director of the Board, Cint AB. Jeffrey W. Rose, Member of the Board
Jeffrey is an attorney specializing in intellectual property licensing, development, publishing, and strategy. For the past twenty years, Jeffrey has served clients in the interactive entertainment, film, television, new media, and technology industries, providing counsel on a wide spectrum of successful projects. His practice is based in Southern California and serves clients worldwide. Jeffrey served from 2011 to 2013 on the board of Web Wise Kids, a non-profit organization that seeks to educate kids, parents and the community on how to make safe and wise choices in a technologically evolving world. He received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Duke University in 1984 and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1987. Shareholding: 2,000. Warrants: 0.
Pär Sundberg, Member of the Board
After graduating from Lulea University of Technology with a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Pär co-founded OTW, Sweden's leading provider of Content Marketing Services. Pär served as Group President and CEO of OTW from inception in 1996 until 2009. Following that Pär has also served as President and CEO of Metronome Film & Television, the Nordic region's pre-eminent production Group. Mr. Sundberg is currently Member of the Board in AB Traction and Hälsa Invest AB, and Chairman in Brand New Content AB, Digital Amplifiers AB and Näslund & Jonsson Import AB ("Snö of Sweden"). Annika Andersson, Member of the Board
Born 1958. Annika Andersson holds an M.Sc. Econ from the Stockholm School of Economics. She serves as the deputy Chairman of the Board at Karolinska Institutet, Board member of Karolinska Institutet Holding AB and executive Chairman of the Board at Pantor Engineering AB, who provides advanced trading systems. She is also corporate governance advisor. Annika Andersson has a long background in the financial services industry, among others from the Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund as investment manager and as responsible for corporate governance, information and sustainability. Chris Carvalho, Member of the Board
Born 1965. Chris graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business with a degree in business administration. Since then he has also completed an MBA at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Most recently, Chris spent four years at San Francisco-based free-to-play mobile game company Kabam as Chief Operating Officer. Kabam was funded by Google Ventures and Time Warner, among others, and grew during Chris's tenure from 25 to 700+ employees with offices on three continents and from approximately $2 million in revenue to $360 million in revenue. Before Kabam, Chris spent almost ten years at Lucasfilm where he headed up Business Development for all of the Lucas companies and ran the company's Internet division. Chris is currently acting as an advisor to a number of companies and is a board member at Performance Lab, a B2B wearables technology startup, MaxPlay, a gaming, VR tools and tech company, and ROBLOX, one of the largest kids and teens gaming destinations. Alexander Tabunov, COO, Co-Founder
Alexander Tabunov, born in 1974, is an experienced IT manager with background in software engineering. Since co-founding G5 in 2001, Alexander is responsible for G5’s day-to-day operations and processes in COO position, including building G5's development team on multiple platforms and technologies. Alexander received his MS degree in computer science from Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. Alexander is a director in Purple Wolf Limited, which owns 530,000 shares in the company. Shareholding:0. Warrants: 60,000.
Stefan Wikstrand, CFO
After studies at Jönköping International Business School he worked five years within audit at MGI Revideco AB and KPMG. Since 2010 Stefan Wikstrand has worked at TradeDoubler AB as Group Financial & Business Controller. During his time at TradeDoubler, Stefan has worked with all aspects of running the finance function at an international listed company. Stefan Wikstrand is 34 years old. Shareholding: 3,000. Tatiana Timoshenko, Director of Licensing
Tatiana has over 5 years experience in business development and product management, and joined G5 as Director of Licensing from Oberon Media, where she spent 3 years as Developer Partnership Manager, overseeing multiple development and publishing deals. Before that Tatiana worked in a number of privately held IT companies specializing in game development and outsourcing fields. Tatiana holds Master's Degree in Philology.
Olesya Primakina, Business Development Director
Olesya joined G5 in 2011, being responsible for finding new game development studios and forming new partnerships during the period of the fastest expansion of G5’s developer network. Today, as Business Development Director, Olesya keeps her responsibilities with regard to new partners, but also oversees the full cycle of partnership with third party developers. Prior to G5, Olesya worked in content management and account management positions in IT industry. Olesya holds Master Degree in Philology.
Nikita Gerasimov, Development Director
Nikita manages G5’s development resources in Moscow and Kharkiv offices, being responsible for timely allocation of resources, delivery of project milestones, and PnL of development unit in general. Since 1993, when Nikita started in games industry, he held multiple management positions in G5 and other companies. Nikita’s background as a military officer brings extra discipline to our development processes and sometimes extra flavor to our office language. Nikita holds Master Degree in Engineering.
Leyla Aslanova, Technical Director
Leyla is responsible for G5’s technology, including Talisman games engine, and she teaches and manages all lead programmers on G5’s projects. Leyla has over 10 years of industry experience in IT and game companies, and holds Master Degree in Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Vladimir Davidovich, Lead Software Architect
Vladimir is responsible for strategic planning of G5’s technology development, key decision making and approving decisions regarding software architecture on all projects, technical audit of third party software, development and implementation of company’s coding standards. Vladimir holds Master Degree in Computer Science from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.
Mike Zakharov, Executive Producer
Since June 2008 Mike is acting as Executive Producer, overseeing all game projects and ensuring high quality of our games. Mike started in G5 as level designer several years ago after abandoning his legal career in one of Moscow’s law firms for the reason of being “bored to death” and being unable to escape his passion for games. Since then he feels much better, and has produced a number of great games within G5. Mike holds Master Degree in Law.
Vsevolod Chernushevich, Art Director
Vsevolod oversees art direction of all G5 games and establishes art production processes within the group’s studios.
Sergey Serdechniy, Manager, Kharkov Office
Sergey runs G5’s large development office in Kharkov. He is responsible for general administration and coordination with Moscow team. Sergey holds degree in Accounting.
Dmitry Gerastenok, Head of Customer Support
Dmitry manages game updates, new platform deployments, and oversees customer support service. He started with G5 more than 5 years ago as QA engineer and gradually made his way to current position. Dmitry studied at Moscow Power Engineering Institute Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering. Being passionate gamer for all his life, Dmitry is happy to work in games industry.
