Russian gaming magazine Game Land interviews G5 team

Game Land, one of the most popular and respected Russian gaming magazines and the only one writing about games on all modern gaming platforms, interviewed the “Whirlwind of Vietnam: UH-1” development team. In September issue of the magazine G5 tells about the project, its features and development process. In the interview readers can find the latest information about  “Whirlwind of Vietnam: UH-1” and see a full-page photo of CEO Vlad Suglobov near a real UH-1 Huey, the legendary US helicopter, reconstructed in the game.

“Whirlwind of Vietnam: UH-1” is in flight!


G5 Software and 1C Company are proud to announce the release of the highly anticipated helicopter flight simulation title “Whirlwind of Vietnam: UH-1”. The game which tells the story of the war conflict between US troops and the forces of North Vietnam in the Ia Drang Valley in 1965 hit shelves on the 15 of September, 2006 in Russia. The release date of the game in other countries will be announced later.

Missile Crisis released on Verizon Wireless

The mobile game Missile Crisis, developed by G5 Mobile, is published by Starwave Mobile (a part of Walt Disney Internet Group) and is now available in USA on Verizon Wireless. The game is set in 1962, and the Cuban Missile Crisis could result in all-out nuclear war between the US and the Soviets. One US Special Forces agent is sent in to resolve a top secret conflict involving a secret weapon under development. Use stealth, skill, and arms to remove enemy troops, locate equipment, solve problems, control enemy tanks – even hide bodies so you won’t be detected while you complete your objectives. But work fast – the US must be protected against an undetectable first strike weapon.The game is available on the wide range of BREW handsets.
