G5 develops mobile games UFC 2009 Undisputed and Red Faction 3 for THQ Wireless
Known as Project Jade inside G5, mobile third person shooter game Red Faction 3 was developed by G5 for THQ Wireless and is now in porting, aimed for later release alongside videogame. Ultimate Fighting Championship 2009 Undisputed, known as Project Sapphire internally at G5, is still being developed by G5 for the same publisher. UFC 2009 Undisputed is to be released in 2009. Both games are developed for BREW and J2ME platforms and are powered by G5’s cross-platform Talisman technology.
During July 23-25 G5 representatives attended Casual Connect Seattle to meet with the largest casual game portals. In the first week of August G5 representatives will be visiting mobile and casual game publishers in California to showcase new technology and discuss projects for filling G5’s pipeline going into 2009.

New PC casual game project “Paranormal Agency” ready for release in August
Shape Games Inc, a subsidiary of G5 Entertainment AB, has finished work on yet another PC casual game – Paranormal Agency. This is Shape’s second game in the popular Hidden Object genre. In Paranormal Agency, featuring charismatic characters and many mini-games, players will help top-secret detective agency resolve thrilling mystery involving ghosts, poltergeist, and supernatural events.
The game is self-funded and self-produced by Shape Games Inc, and will be distributed by the company directly to the world’s largest portals, according to management’s plan to experiment with different distribution and publishing strategies. The game has already been confirmed to be picked up by two of Top3 portals. Paranormal Agency is set to be released in August 2008, and revenue from game’s sales will contribute to group’s revenue in second half 2008.

G5 is to develop multiplayer 3D game for 3G networks in Russia
G5 has signed a deal to develop multiplayer 3D game for 3G networks in Russia. G5 is paid to develop a game that will, for marketing purposes, demonstrate the benefits of 3G network capabilities and modern handsets, compared to previous generation. The game is developed for the needs of Russia’s leading GSM operator, under contract between G5 and representative of large international IT company supplying 3G solutions.

New casual game project signed with Real Arcade; Supermarket Mania comes out on Oberon Games, Pogo, and Playfirst portals
A new yet unannounced game project from Shape Games Inc., subsidiary of G5 Entertainment AB, was signed with Real Arcade – world’s largest casual games portal. According to the deal, Real Arcade gets exclusive worldwide distribution rights, while Shape Games retains distribution rights for the game on Russian market. More information about the project, including the release date, is going to be announced soon.
G5’s debut PC casual game Supermarket Mania achieved top chart positions on Playfirst.com – one of the most popular casual game portals, came out on EA’s Pogo.com casual games portal, and is going to be released in a matter of days on OberonGames.com – another large casual games portal.

G5 signs a new blockbuster deal with EA and completes Hellboy game for Konami
G5 has delivered Hellboy Mobile game (known as Project Emily internally in G5) to the publisher – Konami Digital Entertainment. Hellboy Mobile is powered by G5’s proprietary Talisman™ technology and is coming out soon, along with Hellboy 2 Golden Army movie and upcoming Hellboy videogame from Konami.
The newly signed project with EA Mobile received codename Agate inside G5. The game is based on a popular franchise and an upcoming movie; it will be powered by G5’s proprietary cross-platform Talisman™ technology, and is aimed to be released in 2009.

G5 completes the acquisition of Shape Games Inc.
G5 has completed the acquisition of shares representing 51 percent of Shape Games Inc, in accordance with the binding agreement signed on May 29th 2008, and as announced the same day.
